Removing valve nozzles / checking jet shape and tightness
Remove valve injectors from intake manifold with attached fuel lines. The injectors are only inserted into the manifold and can be easily removed.
Fix the nozzles in a suitable vessel.
Have an assistant turn on the starter for a few seconds, while comparing the shape of the injector jets with each other. The fuel should come out in a cone-shaped jet, the same for all nozzles.
Keep the starter on for about 10 seconds (assistant does it), collect the fuel injected by the injectors.
Switch off the ignition.
Dry the valve nozzles at the nozzles and examine them. Nozzles must not leak, otherwise the defective nozzle must be replaced.
The workshop can check the performance of the injectors.
Install injectors.
Caution: When reinstalling the injectors, make sure that the O-rings are not damaged. Always replace sealing rings. Moisten the O-rings with fuel before installing.
