The wires of the ignition and injection systems must be disconnected and connected only when the ignition is switched off. This also applies to the wires of measuring instruments.
It is allowed to use a device for accelerated charging of the battery for starting the engine for no more than 1 minute at a maximum voltage of 16.5 volts.
Never disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
When charging the battery with a quick charger, disconnect the battery from the vehicle's electrical system.
Before checking the electronic injection system, it is necessary to make sure that the ignition is in order, that is, the ignition and spark plugs meet the requirements.
Do not start the engine at temperatures above +80°C (drying chamber temperature). Wait until the car has cooled down.
Make sure that the injection system connectors are in perfect condition.
When checking compression, turn off the voltage supply to the fuel pump relay, pull the relay out of position 12 of the relay board. Additionally, pull out the high voltage wire (terminal 4) from the ignition distributor and short it to ground.
Accuracy when working with injection systems
Thoroughly clean the connection points and places next to these connections with fuel before disconnecting.
Lay the removed parts on a clean base and cover with foil or paper. Do not use fluffy cloths for this!
Exposed parts should be carefully covered or covered unless urgent repairs are being carried out.
Install only clean parts. Remove spare parts from the packaging only immediately before installation.
With an open supply system, if possible, do not work with compressed air. If possible, do not move the car.
