Adjustment
Clamp a board 15 mm thick between the gas pedal and the pedal stop. Lock the pedal in this position.
By pulling at the rod sheath -1-, fully open the throttle valve and by moving the locking clip -2- at the counter-support, adjust it in this position.
Release the gas pedal.
Disconnect the plug from the accelerator switch and connect a digital multimeter to both contacts of the plug block. The switch is located at the rear wall of the engine compartment next to the gas draft.
Measure resistance. The prescribed value is ∞ (infinity) Ohm.
Slowly press the gas pedal in the direction of increasing load and at the same time observe the reading of the multimeter. Immediately after the moment the accelerator switch is activated, the resistance should drop to 0 ohms. In this case, the gas pedal should be almost in front of the stop.
Otherwise, repeat the adjustment.
