Note. Before removing brake pads for further use, put marks on them for installation in their original places, because. their rearrangement will cause a malfunction of the brake mechanism.
Remove protective caps. Using a screwdriver as a lever, apply the pad retaining spring from the caliper and remove it. Unscrew the two guide pins and remove them from the caliper. Remove the brake pads from the pad guide or caliper.
Remove some of the brake fluid from the reservoir with a syringe to prevent it from overflowing when installing new pads. Clean the pad sockets in the caliper. Fully sink the piston into the cylinder. Install the inner pad into the caliper with the retaining spring so that the arrow on the back of the pad is pointing down (pic. 7-3). Install the outer brake pad in the same way. as internal. Remove the protective film from the outer brake pad. Screw two guide pins into the caliper. Install both protective caps. Install the retaining spring in its place in the caliper. Press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons to the working position, check and, if necessary, restore the level of brake fluid in the reservoir.
