Hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers of the Vode or Sachs brand of double-acting, non-separable design. The ends of the anti-roll bar are welded to the suspension arms. Stabilizer bar diameters are shown in Table 5-3. Air suspension. On request, station wagons are equipped with a rear suspension with pneumatic shock absorbers, a body position regulator, with trailing arms elastically connected by a transverse beam. Shock absorbers pneumatic telescopic brand Monroe, double-acting, non-separable design. On the left shock absorber there is a sensor for adjusting the position of the body height.
Note. Only air shock absorbers with body position sensor and sensor wire are supplied as spare parts. When replacing the right shock absorber, on the new shock absorber, cut off the sensor wire at the shock absorber housing.
Pneumatic compressor switched on and off by the electronic control unit. mounted on the mudguard of the left rear fender inside the luggage compartment. The control unit, located next to the compressor, turns the compressor on and off depending on the signals from the body positioner sensor. The rear wheel hub, made integral with the brake drum or disc, depending on the vehicle configuration, is mounted on two tapered roller bearings.
Details of the rear suspension with hydraulic and pneumatic shock absorbers are shown in fig. 5-6 and 5-9.
