Warning. Before carrying out work on disconnecting the high pressure line of the body positioner system, release the air pressure through the pressure distributor purge valve to prevent accidents when the rear of the vehicle drops suddenly.
To remove, relieve air pressure from the body positioner system through the purge valve (pic. 5-10). Disconnect the wire from the body position control sensor on the left shock absorber. Remove the left rear fender mudguard trim and route the wire through the hole in the mudguard. Unscrew the high pressure pipe from the shock absorber fitting. Remove the air shock absorber as described above in subsection «Removal and installation of shock absorber with suspension spring».
To install, install the air shock absorber like this. so that the high-pressure pipe fitting faces the outside of the vehicle, i.e. to the wheel at an angle of 90°to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. Install and tighten the upper and lower shock absorber mounting nuts. Pass the sensor wire through the hole in the rear wheel mudguard to the left shock absorber. Connect the high pressure pipe to the shock absorber, being careful not to damage the sealing ring of the pipe. Connect the sensor wire on the left shock absorber.
