The following data is displayed on the computer monitor:
- time in hours and minutes:
- the duration of the trip with a symbol in the form of a dial;
- average fuel consumption with symbol «1/100 km»;
- path traveled with symbol «km»;
- engine oil temperature with a symbol in the form of a burette and°C;
- outdoor temperature with sun symbol and°C.
The computer control switches are located on the wiper switch lever (rice. 8-17).
By briefly pressing the key «B» there is a sequential output to the monitor of the listed information in the specified order. When the key is pressed again for more than 1 s, the indicated information on the monitor is replaced by the time indication.
The computer has two storage devices:
- Memory of current information (monitor display: «MFA 1»);
- summing memory (monitor display: «MFA 2»).
To select the displayed information switch «A» moves accordingly to the position «1» and «2».
Data is entered into the memory of the current information from the moment the ignition is turned on until the end of the ride and the ignition is turned off. If the duration of the trip is less than 2 hours, the recording of information continues even after the ignition is turned off.
If there is a break of more than 2 hours between stopping the car and continuing to drive, the recorded information is erased.
The summation memory stores the total values up to a total driving time of 100 hours, a total distance traveled of 10,000 km, and a fuel consumption of 1,000 liters. After exceeding the specified values, the data is erased and rewritten.
After 2 hours of parking, the data from the summation memory is not erased.
NOTE: The engine oil temperature is indicated in the range of 50-160°C. Wait until the temperature reading appears on the monitor before increasing the engine speed. When the oil temperature reaches 145°C, reduce engine speed.
The outside air temperature is indicated in the range from -40 to +50°С. When the vehicle is parked or the vehicle is moving at low speed, the outdoor temperature reading may be slightly higher than the actual temperature due to engine heat radiation. Outside air temperature readings cannot be used to determine the possibility of icing, since icing can also form at temperatures above 0°C.
Data on oil and outside air temperatures are one-time and are not entered into the memory.
The time on the clock with a digital display is set by pressing two buttons 12 (rice. 1).
