Windshield wiper

The control switch lever, located on the steering column on the right, has the following positions (pic. 19):

• 0: purifier off;
• 1 (press the lever up without bringing it to a fixed position): turn on the cleaner for one turn;
• 2 (first upper fixed position): normal cleaner speed;
• 3 (second upper fixed position): high cleaner speed;
• 4 (lower fixed position): intermittent operation of the cleaner;
• 5 (pressing the lever towards you from position 0): turn on the windshield washer while turning on the wiper for several strokes;
• 6 (pressing the lever away from you from any position): Activate the rear window wiper and washer.

Switching off the rear window cleaner is done by pressing the lever once from you during the brush stroke. headlight washer (on some car models) turns on when the headlights are on at the same time as the windshield washer.

The glass and headlight washer reservoir is located in the engine compartment on the left (pic. 20 and rice. 31). Pour into the tank a mixture of water with detergent in the summer or with a special antifreeze in the winter.
