Ignition switch or instrument and starter switch

The ignition or instrument and starter switch with anti-theft device is located on the steering column on the right. The switch key has the following positions (pic. 6):

• 1 - everything is off, when the key is removed, the anti-theft device is turned on. To turn on the anti-theft device, remove the key from the lock and turn the steering wheel until the steering shaft lock engages (click). To turn off the anti-theft device, insert the key into the lock and turn it while turning the steering wheel in both directions;
• 2 - the ignition of the gasoline engine is on, the pre-heating of the diesel engine is on;
• 3 - starter is on. If the engine does not start on the first try, turn the key back to position 1 and then try to start the engine again.
