The oil pump is driven by an intermediate shaft (pic. 2-153). Oil pressure in the system at a temperature of 80°C and a crankshaft speed of 2000 rpm, not less than 2 kgf/cm2. An oil filter with a replaceable Knecht filter element is connected in series with the main engine oil line. The filter element is replaced every time the engine oil is changed.
