Checking the control pressure on a cold engine

This check is carried out on a cold engine at a coolant temperature of 20-30°C.

Disconnect the pilot pressure regulator connector. Open the manometer cock. Start the engine at idle. Determine the control pressure on the manometer as a function of the coolant temperature (table 2-28). If the control pressure is not within the specified limits, determine the cause in Table 2-28 and repair the problem.
