Disconnect the 2-pin or 4-pin sensor connector.
Connect a voltmeter to the terminals of the 2-pin connector.
On older vehicles, connect a voltmeter to the terminals «2» (red-white wire) And «1» (brown wire) 4-pin connector. Start the engine at idle. In this case, the voltmeter in both cases should show the voltage of the battery.
