Connect a stroboscope and a control tachometer to the ignition system according to the operating instructions. Loosen the bolt of the sensor-distributor mounting bracket.
Start the engine and set the idle speed.
Remove the hatch cover of the clutch housing and direct the light beam of the stroboscope through the opening in the crankcase onto the flywheel. By turning the housing of the sensor-distributor, achieve the alignment of the marks on the flywheel and the clutch housing.
Warning. To see the fixed mark for setting the ignition timing, it is necessary to lean towards the clutch housing.
Tighten the bolt of the distributor sensor mounting bracket, check the ignition timing again and, if necessary, repeat the adjustment.
