Throttle damper test

Open throttle valve. Make sure that when closing the throttle damper rod 2 enters its body under the influence of lever 1 (pic. 2-67).



Check the gap between lever 1 and stem 2, which should be within 4.0-4.5 mm.

If the gap does not correspond to the specified limits, loosen the nut 4 and turn the damper body 3 in the direction away from the lever so that the lever 1 barely touches the plunger. Turn the damper housing 4 ¼ turns towards the lever and tighten nut 4.
