Disconnect the 8-pin sensor connector.
Connect an ohmmeter to the terminal «3» sensor and to «mass» (pic. 2-125) and check the resistance with an ohmmeter, which should be no more than 1.5 ohms with the throttle closed and equal to «infinity» with the shutter open.
Turn on the ignition and connecting a voltmeter to the terminals «7» and «4», «7» and «3» cable part of the connector (pic. 2-126), check the supply voltage of the switch, which must be at least 4.5 V. Switch off the ignition.
To check the connection of the switch with «weight» connect an ohmmeter to the output «7» switch and to «mass» (pic. 2-126) and check the resistance with an ohmmeter, which should be 0.
