Removal and installation of nozzles

To remove, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the high pressure fuel lines from the injectors.

Note. To prevent accidental damage to the high pressure fuel lines, also disconnect them from the injection pump and remove from the engine.

Disconnect the fuel drain line. Loosen the screws holding the injector holders and remove the holders. Unscrew the nozzles.

To install, wrap the nozzles and tighten them with a torque of 7 kgf·m. Install the injector holders and tighten their fastening bolts to a torque of 2 kgf·m. Connect the fuel drain line. Install and connect high pressure fuel lines.
