Unscrew the nozzles. Clamp the nozzle body in a vise and unscrew the nozzle. Clamp the nozzle to prevent parts from falling out and disassemble it. placing alignment marks on the parts to install them in the same position during assembly.
Check for the following defects in the injector parts:
- deformation or roughness of the nozzle valve seat surface;
- soot on the sprayer or its damage;
- scratches and nicks on the valve needle;
- shells on the surface of the valve seat;
- ovality of the spray nozzle;
- traces of overheating of the nozzle body;
- nozzle tip wear.
If the listed defects are found, replace the nozzle. Rinse the nozzle parts in kerosene and clean them with a stiff brush. Assemble the nozzle and screw it into the nozzle body with a torque of 7 kgf·m.
