Removal and installation of nozzles

To remove, disconnect the high pressure fuel lines from the injectors. Disconnect the fuel drain line. Unscrew the injectors with a socket or box wrench (pic. 3-42).



Remove heat shields.

To install, place new heat shields in the position shown in fig. 3-43. Wrap the nozzles and tighten them with a torque of 7.0 kgf·m. Connect the return fuel line and high pressure fuel lines to the injectors. It is not necessary to remove air from the power system.
