Adjustment of the electromagnetic stopper of the selector lever lock

Adjust the position of the electromagnetic stopper by moving it along the mounting slots in such a way as to obtain a gap of 0.3 mm between the stopper pusher and the selector lever (pic. 4-65).



To check the operation of the stopper, set the selector lever to the position «R» and apply a voltage of 12 V to the stopper solenoid. In this case, the stopper should block the selector lever.

Disconnect voltage from stopper. In this case, the selector lever must move to all positions. The stopper pusher must not engage with the selector lever. Set selector lever to position «N» and check the operation of the stopper as indicated for the position «R».
