Input shaft assembly

Install the 3rd gear gear on the input shaft with the shoulder towards the retaining ring. Install retaining ring. Press the 4th gear gear with a collar towards the retaining ring onto the input shaft with a press. Press the roller bearing inner races onto the shaft with a press. Install the thrust washer and press on the 5th gear needle bearing bush. Press the outer races of the bearings into the seats of the clutch housing and gearbox housing with a press, placing the adjusting ring under the outer race of the rear bearing.
