Bonnet release cable

Location of the hood release cable

• 1 - cable for opening the hood lock,
• 2 - cable sheath seal,
• 3 - seal,
• 4 - wing seal,
• 5 - hood lock,
• 6 - hood lock cable coupling,
• 7 - hood opening handle,
• 8 - self-tapping screw

Warning: Seal face 3 must fit snugly against the wing seal.

Warning: A cable for opening the hood lock is attached to handle 7.

Removing

1. Inside the car, unscrew the two self-tapping screws and remove the hood release handle. Disconnect the cable from the hood release handle.

2. Unscrew bolts and remove the lock of opening of a cowl. Disconnect the cable from the hood opening lock.

3. The cable for opening the hood lock consists of two parts and is connected by a coupling. Disconnect the hood opening cable connector when removing the hood lock bracket.
