Fastening elements of the front seat

• 1 - inner guide of the seat,
• 2 - outer guide of the seat,

Removing

When removing the front seat, you must use a special adapter VAS-5601 for airbags.

1. Switch off ignition and remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.

2. Move the front seat all the way forward.

3. Remove the decorative lining of the inner guide of the front seat, for which lift the rear part of the lining (arrow A) and by moving back the overlay (arrow B), remove it from the guide, see fig. Front seat fasteners.


4. Remove the decorative trim from the outer rail of the front seat by lifting the front of the trim (arrow C) and moving it back (arrow D), remove it from the guide, see fig. Front seat fasteners.

5. Move the front seat all the way back.

6. Remove the screws (3) fastenings of forward sitting, see fig. Front seat fasteners.

7. Moving back, release the front seat from the rails and remove it from the car.

Warning: Before disconnecting the electrical connectors of the front seat airbag system, discharge static electricity from the body by briefly touching the body with your hands.

8. Disconnect the electrical connectors for ignition of the airbag charge and ground connections.

9. Connect the electrical connector (2) adapter VAS-5061 to electrical connector (5), see fig. The location of the electrical connectors on the front seat with airbag.

10. Connect the airbag unit's airbag charge ignition wire to the electrical connector (1 - ground connection) airbag adapter.

11. Disconnect the electrical connectors for heating and adjusting the position of the front seats.

Installation

1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

2. Tighten the front seat bolts to 25 Nm.

3. Connect ground wire to battery.

4. If the airbag warning lamp lights up after installing the front seat, which indicates a malfunction, it is necessary to contact a specialized workshop to recall the malfunctions stored in the memory of the block.
