Removing
1. Remove the airbag from the center of the steering wheel.
2. Set the front wheels to drive straight ahead. In this case, the steering wheel must be in the middle position.
3. Using a marker or paint, mark the relative position of the steering wheel and steering shaft.
4. Remove the steering wheel center bolt and remove the steering wheel from the steering shaft.
Installation
1. Install the steering wheel on the splines of the steering shaft so that the marks made before removing the steering wheel match. When installing the steering wheel, the vehicle's front wheels must be in the straight ahead position and the turn signal switch must be in the neutral position.
2. Secure the steering wheel with a knurled socket head bolt and tighten to 60 Nm.
3. Install the airbag.
4. Take a test drive. When driving in a straight line, the steering wheel spokes must be in a horizontal position. Otherwise remove a steering wheel and at installation shift it to the corresponding party. Check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment.
5. Check the operation of the horn and the automatic return of the turn switch to the neutral position after cornering.
