Rear wheel bearing/hub mounting elements on front wheel drive vehicles
- 1 - self-locking bolt, 35 Nm,
- 2 - rear brake caliper,
- 3 - bolts, 60 Nm,
- 4 - brake disc,
- 5 - bolts, 60 Nm,
- 6 - bearing / rear wheel hub,
- 7 - tamped casing,
- 8 - rear beam,
- 9 - rear wheel rotation sensor,
- 10 - rear wheel rotation sensor retainer
Warning: When installing bolt 1, a new bolt must be used.
Warning: Rear wheel bearing/hub 6 is one piece. In this case, adjustment of the rear wheel bearing is not required.
Removing
1. Unscrew the two brake caliper mounting bolts, while using a thin wrench, keep the guide pin from turning.
2. Remove the brake pads.
3. Remove the brake disc.
4. Through the hole in the hub, unscrew the five rear wheel bearing/hub mounting bolts.
5. Remove the rear wheel bearing/hub.
Installation
1. Install the rear wheel bearing/hub and screw in with bolts, tightening them to 60 Nm.
2. Install the brake disc.
3. Install the brake pads.
4. Install the brake caliper and secure it with new self-locking bolts while holding the guide pin from turning with a thin wrench.
