Warning: When installing it is necessary to use new self-locking nuts 2, 4, 12, 22, 23, 25, 27, 33, 34.
Warning: There are special notches on the underside of nuts 25, 27, 34 and a nut with the same notches must be used during installation.
Warning: When installing, it is advisable to use new bolts 7, 17, 19, 28, 30, 35.
Warning: When tightening bolt 19, the vehicle must be on wheels.
Warning: Bolt tightening torques 19:
- bolt M14 (spanner size 14 mm) 115 Nm + tighten by 180°,
- bolt M16 (spanner size 17 mm) 190 Nm + tighten.
Warning: Bolt 37 tightening torques:
- bolt M8 40 Nm,
- bolt M10 80 Nm.
Warning: Bolt 40 is used to fasten wire shafts with a three-arm joint.
Warning: The lever 15 can only be removed together with the bracket.
Warning: If oil leaks from the hydraulic support, the support must be replaced.
Warning: The arrow on the earring 29 points towards the front of the vehicle.
Warning: Do not lift the vehicle by the lower front frame 36.
Warning: Clamp 42 is installed on the lower front wishbone.
The suspension is the link between the body and the wheels. Through them, the forces acting on the wheels are transmitted to the body. The elements included in the suspension soften dynamic loads, reduce body vibrations, provide good stability and smoothness of the car.
The lower front transverse beam serves as the bearing element of the front suspension. The power unit is attached to the beam through appropriate supports.
The front suspension of the car has four independent transverse levers. This reduces the transmission of vibration to the car body.
Cylindrical springs assembled with shock absorbers installed inside them constitute a suspension strut. The upper part of the suspension strut is attached to the upper front suspension bracket, and the lower part is attached to the transverse arm.
The torque from the gearbox to the wheels is transmitted using drive shafts with constant velocity joints.
Each shaft consists of three parts: internal and external joints of equal angular velocities (SHRUS) and the central part of the shaft.
The splined tip of the outer hinge housing is inserted into the wheel hub and fixed with a nut. CV joints are lubricated with grease, which is replaced only when the joint is disassembled.
Warning: It is strictly forbidden to carry out welding and straightening work on the elements of the front suspension. Be sure to replace self-locking nuts, as well as bolts with traces of corrosion.
