Secret bolts for fixing wheels

Wheel bolts

• 1 - wheel bolt,
• 2 - wheel bolt cap,
• 3 - adapter

Order of execution

1. Using the plastic clip from the tool kit, pull off the cap 2 from the wheel bolt, see fig. Wheel bolts.

2. Insert adapter 3 as far as it will go into the recess of the wheel bolt.

3. Slide the wheel wrench onto adapter 3 as far as it will go. For a wheel key unscrew a bolt of fastening of a wheel.

4. After changing the wheel, remove the adapter from the wheel bolt and install the cap. A secret code is stamped on the end surface of the adapter. Only on the basis of this code can a replacement adapter be ordered from a Volkswagen workshop.
