When is the due date for the next maintenance on the lower counter? (trip meter) speedometer, one of the following symbols of the required type of maintenance lights up:
- oil change - service OEL or service Oil;
- inspection service - service INSP.
Approximately one minute after the engine is started, the indication for maintenance required disappears.
The Volkswagen service company, which performs maintenance after work, using special equipment VAG 1551, sets the service indicator to its original (zero) position.
If the maintenance was not carried out by a Volkswagen workshop, the service indicator must be reset.
