Casing (1) air filter and air intake pipe with clamp (2)
Location of quick clamps (1) and air hose clamp (2)
Grid location (1) and bolt (2) mountings in the air filter housing
Order of execution
1. Remove cover if present (1) air filter, see fig. casing (1) air filter and air intake pipe with clamp (2).
2. Loosen the clamp on the air intake pipe (2), see fig. casing (1) air filter and air intake pipe with clamp (2).
3. Loosen clamp (2) and disconnect the air pipe from the air filter housing, see fig. Location of quick clamps (1) and air hose clamp (2).
4. Open the quick-release clamps by hand (1), lift the air filter cover and remove the old filter element, see fig. Location of quick clamps (1) and air hose clamp (2).
5. Depending on the vehicle equipment, a mesh can be installed in the lower part of the air filter, in the intake duct area. The mesh is designed to trap large contaminants, snow and ice so that they do not block the filter element. If there is a mesh, unscrew the bolt (1) fixing the mesh, remove the mesh and clean it, see fig. Grid location (1) and bolt (2) mountings in the air filter housing.
6. Be careful to clean the inside surfaces of the air cleaner cover and housing.
7. If there is a mesh, install it in the filter housing and secure it with a bolt.
8. Install the filter element into the air filter housing.
9. Install the air filter cover and secure it with the quick release clips.
Install the air hose and secure it with a clamp.
Secure the air intake pipe with a clamp.
If equipped, install the air filter cover.
