To open the unlocked trunk lid (tailgate) with the key slot in the vertical position, grasp the handle from the bottom of the cover (tailgate) and lift the lid (back door) up (see picture).
To close the trunk lid (back door) pull it down, and slightly swinging, slam.
In the lining of the lid (back door) there is a recessed handle that makes it easier to lower the lid (back door).
Security alarm system
By means of the security alarm system, entry into the car and its theft are significantly hampered. In case of malicious penetration into the car, sound and light alarms are activated.
The alarm system is activated automatically when one of the front doors or the trunk lid is locked (tailgate). To do this, turn the key once in the locking direction. After that, the system immediately turns on.
When the key is turned twice in the locking direction, the security alarm system is deactivated, which is accompanied by a short flashing of the direction indicators.
The system is triggered if, on a locked vehicle, the following is unauthorizedly opened:
- or one of the doors
- or the hood
- or trunk lid (back door), and also if the ignition is turned on.
This activates the horn and hazard warning lights for approximately 30 seconds.
After 28 days have elapsed from the moment the security alarm system was turned on, the control lamp goes out. This prevents the battery from being discharged. If necessary, the alarm system must be reactivated.
In the event that after the termination of the alarm, another opening of protected areas occurs (for example, after opening one of the doors, the trunk lid will open (backdoor)) mode will be switched on again "panic".
The security alarm system can also be turned on and off by radio remote control.
