The panel opens and closes with the ignition on via a rotary switch; pressing or pulling the switch raises and lowers the panel.
The panel can also be opened or closed after switching off the ignition, as long as one of the front doors is not yet open.
Shift
Turn the switch clockwise until the panel reaches the desired position. In position A, the sunroof is fully open.
Closing
To close, turn the switch to position B.
Climb
Quickly press the corresponding face of the switch (see arrow) – the panel will fully raise.
Pull the switch quickly and the panel will close completely.
By long pressing or pulling the switch, you can set the panel in any desired position.
On vehicles with a glass roof panel, sliding the panel simultaneously opens the sliding screen to protect against strong solar radiation. With the roof panel closed, it can be pushed back by hand if desired.
Convenient panel closure
The sliding panel can be closed not only with the switch, but also by locking one of the front doors of the vehicle: hold the key in the lock position or keep the radio remote control button pressed until the panel closes.
Procedure in case of malfunction of the drive mechanism
If the drive mechanism fails, the roof panel can be closed manually.
Order of execution
1. Remove the plastic cover from the back with a screwdriver.
2. Remove the crank from the cover holder, insert it into the hole and close the sliding panel.
3. Insert the wrench into the holder and replace the cover.
