The memorized adjustments can be called up either by pressing the memory keys D or via the radio remote control.
Calling via memory keys
For safety reasons, adjustments can only be called up when the ignition is switched off.
There are two call options:
- "touch automatic": With the driver's door open, lightly press the selected memory button D. The seat and exterior mirrors will automatically assume the memorized position,
- "manual": keep the selected memory button D pressed with the driver's door open or closed until the seat and exterior mirrors are completely in the memorized position.
If you press one of the memory buttons again during the automatic adjustment of the seat and exterior mirrors, the ongoing call process will be interrupted. If you then press the memory button again, the interrupted installation process will be continued. If, on the contrary, you press one of the other two keys, the process of recalling the adjustments stored on this key will take place.
Call via radio remote control
You can set the settings stored in the memory only when the ignition is off and the driver's door is closed.
Briefly press the unlock button on the radio remote control key and then open the driver's door.
The seat and exterior mirrors will automatically assume the previously selected position.
Calling up the right mirror setting when reversing
1. Switch control to the right outside mirror.
2. Engage reverse gear.
The right mirror will automatically take the previously set position when reversing.
As soon as reverse gear is disengaged, the right mirror will return to the previously set position when driving forward.
Emergency Shutdown
If necessary, you can abort the memorized settings by pressing the lock switch E, one of the memory buttons or one of the seat adjustment switches.
Instructions for using the blocking switch E
After pressing the lock switch E, the memory system is disabled. The seat and mirrors can only be installed manually. By pressing the lock switch E again, the memory system is switched on again. However, the interrupted memory installation process does not continue.
We recommend deactivating the memory system with lock switch E when the vehicle is temporarily driven by a driver whose individual seat and mirror adjustments have not been memorized.
Memory system initialization
After disconnecting the battery, the memory system must be restarted "initialize" (reset). Otherwise, it will not be possible to memorize new settings, nor to enter changes in settings into memory.
1. Open the driver's door.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Install the seat cushion up and forward as far as it will go.
4. Set the seatback forward until it stops.
The memory system is now re-initialized and fully operational.
