Accelerator cable on models with 1.6-I and 1.8-I engines
- 1 - fastening element of the accelerator cable. When removing, turn 90°counterclockwise;
- 2 - accelerator cable sealing ring on the partition of the engine compartment. It is installed only on cars with a manual transmission;
- 3 - clamp. Used only on vehicles with manual transmission;
- 4 - clamp. Used only on vehicles with automatic transmission;
- 5 - forced downshift switch on an automatic transmission (kick down);
- 6 - electrical two-pin connector;
- 7 - accelerator cable;
- 8 - pulley on the throttle axis;
- 9 - bolt, 10 Nm;
- 10 - bracket for attaching the accelerator cable sheath;
- 11 - fixing bracket for adjusting the accelerator cable;
- 12 - accelerator pedal;
- 13 - accelerator pedal bracket;
- 14 - accelerator pedal stroke limiter

1. Press the accelerator pedal to the stop and lock it in this position.
2. Check that the throttle lever rests against the maximum load limiter. If not, adjust the accelerator cable.
3. Remove the retaining clip securing the accelerator cable sheath to the bracket, see fig. The location of the fixing bracket that secures the accelerator cable sheath on four-cylinder engines, fig. The location of the retaining clip that secures the accelerator cable sheath on six-cylinder engines.
4. Move the accelerator cable sheath on the bracket until the throttle lever touches the maximum load limiter. In this position of the accelerator cable, secure the cable sheath with the retaining clip.
5. Release the accelerator pedal.
