Fuel line and fuel injectors of four-cylinder gasoline engines
- 1 - fixing bracket. When installing, check the correct location of the fixing bracket;
- 2 - filter;
- 3 - fuel pressure regulator;
- 4 - sealing rings. In the presence of damages it is necessary to use new sealing rings;
- 5 - fuel injector;
- 6 - fuel line;
- 7 - connection of the fuel return pipeline;
- 8 - fuel supply pipeline connection
Removing
1. Remove the top engine cover.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
3. The fuel system is under pressure, so relieve the pressure in the fuel system before disconnecting the fuel system.
4. Position the jack under the vehicle's jacking point. Unscrew the union nut and disconnect the fuel supply hose from the fuel line.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
Engines 1.8-I
1. Disconnect the Hall sensor electrical connector located on the cylinder head.
2. Unscrew the bolts securing the fuel line and remove the fuel line together with the fuel injectors from the intake manifold.
3. Remove the retaining clips securing the fuel distributor and fuel injectors to the fuel line. Pull the fuel injectors out of the fuel line.
Warning: When installing, you must install the fuel injectors in their places.
Installation
1. Before installation, check the condition of the O-rings of the fuel injectors and, if necessary, replace them.
2. Lubricate the O-rings with a thin layer of engine oil.
3. Insert the fuel injectors into the fuel line as far as they will go and secure them with the retaining clips.
4. Install the fuel line together with the fuel injectors on the intake manifold and push it in as far as it will go.
5. Screw the fuel line with bolts, tightening them with a torque of 10 Nm.
6. Connect the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors.
7. Screw the fuel supply pipe to the fuel line.
8. Connect the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator.

1. Connect the Hall sensor electrical connector.
2. Install the engine top cover.
