Note: To determine the height of the tread pattern, measurements should be taken in the main grooves of the tread.
Note: Do not measure on TWI (Tread Wear Indicator means. tread wear indicator).
The tread height should be measured in the main grooves of the tread in the most heavily worn areas of the tire. The positions of the tread wear indicators are visible on the tread shoulder.
Instead of «TWI» icon can be specified «D» or «corporate logo» manufacturer.
The tread wear indicator lugs are 1.6mm high. This value is the minimum tread depth prescribed by law in Germany.
Other regulations may apply in other countries.

Tread wear indicator marks cannot be taken into account when measuring. The decisive factor is the value at the deepest point of the tread groove (pic. 4.5).
