Conditions for checking and adjusting
Tire pressure should be correct.
Diffusing glasses must be clean and undamaged.
Reflectors and lamps are OK.
The car must be properly loaded.
Unload shock absorber springs.
The vehicle and the headlight adjustment device must be on a level surface.
The slope must be adjusted.
On the plug above the headlight, the degree of inclination in «%». The headlights must be adjusted to this value. This percentage is based on a projection distance of 10 m. If you convert a slope of 1.0%, you get 10 cm.
For vehicles with halogen headlights with manual headlight range adjustment
The headlight range adjustment wheel must be in the -0- position.
Load one passenger or 75 kg in the driver's seat in an unladen vehicle (curb weight).
Unladen weight is the mass of the vehicle ready for operation with a fully filled fuel tank (at least 90%), including the weight of all accessories (e.g. spare wheel, tool, jack, fire extinguisher, etc.).
If the fuel tank is less than 90% full, load the vehicle as follows
Check the fuel level in the tank on the indicator. Determine the additional weight according to the table below and load the trunk accordingly.

Example
If the tank is half full, then an additional 20 kg must be put in the trunk.
Note: It is best to use a canister filled with water as additional weight (A 5 liter can of water weighs approximately 5 kg).
For vehicles with headlights with gas discharge lamps with dynamic headlight range adjustment
Note: On vehicles with headlights with gas discharge lamps, before each headlight adjustment, the fault memory must be interrogated with a tester, cleared and the headlight beam throw adjusted to the basic setting.
