Headlight adjustment with gas discharge lamps

Carrying out basic setup

Connect the diagnostic tester.



Turn on the ignition (pic. 7.70).

Click «Guided Functions».

Perform vehicle identification.

Select vehicle system «Automatic headlight adjustment with cornering light».

Choose a function «Performing basic setup» and confirm your choice.

Follow the instructions of the tester.

Check headlight alignment and adjust if necessary

Right headlight adjustment

Left headlight adjusting screws mirrored (pic. 7.71).

First turn adjusting screw 2 to adjust the height of the border between light and shadow.

Then check the lateral setting and, if necessary, correct with the adjusting screw 3.
