Vehicle identification sticker (pic. 1.1) located to the left of the spare wheel well. The identification sticker is also affixed to the service book.
Identification plate
Pic. 1.2. Identification data contained on the sticker: 1 - production number; 2 - vehicle identification number; 3 – type code; 4 - decoding of the model / engine power; 5 - letter designation of the engine and gearbox; 6 - paint code / internal equipment code; 7 - additional equipment code
The nameplate contains the following information about the vehicle:
- A - vehicle identification number;
- C - type code.
Note: Vehicles exported to some countries do not have a nameplate.

Engine number

The letter designation and engine number are on a sticker glued to the cover of the timing mechanism.
The engine code is additionally indicated on the vehicle identification plate and on the cylinder block above the gearbox.
The engine number consists of a maximum of nine characters (alphanumeric). First part (maximum 3 letters) represents «engine code», and the second part (six-digit) «serial number». After the production of more than 999,999 engines with the same letter designation, the first of the six positions of the numbers is replaced by a letter.
