Position A: The trunk lid can be locked and unlocked with the central lock.
Position B: trunk lid permanently locked.
The boot lid can then only be unlocked using the radio key or the switch in the driver's door.
Position C: with a faulty central lock or a discharged battery, in this position of the lock cylinder, you can unlock the trunk lid mechanically with a key.

To open the unlocked trunk lid, act on the lever under the lower edge of the lid (pic. 1.17) and lift the lid.
To close the trunk lid, pull it down, for which it is best to grab the recessed handle in the inner lining of the lid, and. swaying slightly, close the lid.
After locking the trunk lid, always try to pull it up to make sure that the trunk lid is securely locked. Otherwise, while driving, it may suddenly open even if the lock is locked.
