Checking procedure
Open the cover of the expansion tank of the cooling system.
Attention: When opening the expansion tank, hot steam may come out of it. to avoid eye injury and scalding, wear protective goggles and protective clothing. Cover the tank lid with a rag and carefully open it.

Attach the cooling system tester with adapter to the expansion tank (pic. 2.184).
Using the tester's hand pump, apply an overpressure of approximately 1.0 bar.
If the pressure drops, find the leak and repair.

Attach the cooling system tester with adapter to the expansion tank cap (pic. 2.185).
Operate the hand pump.
The pressure reducing valve must open at an overpressure of 1.4 to 1.6 bar.
