Dismantling the radiator
Drain coolant.
Remove facing of a forward bumper.
Set the hood latch console to the service position.
Continuation for cars of all types
Disconnect the water hoses from the radiator.
Remove fans with bracket.
Note: To avoid damage to the condenser and the piping and hoses of the A/C circuit, make sure that the lines and hoses are routed without tension, kinks or kinks.

Remove screws 1 from the radiator bearing (pic. 2.202).
Tilt the radiator back a little.
Unscrew the fixing screws 2 of the capacitor.
Take out the radiator.
Note: On the Passat, the radiator is removed from the bottom, and on the Eos, from the top.
Radiator installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order, paying attention to the following.
When installing a new radiator, do not reuse the old coolant.
Fill with coolant.
Tightening torques
Radiator bearing on the lock holder - 5 Nm.
Condenser to radiator - 5 Nm.
Fan bracket to the radiator - 5 Nm.
