Removal and installation of the valve of 1 regulator of phases of gas distribution

Dismantling

Disconnect connector 1 (pic. 2.134).

Unscrew the screws and remove the valve 1 of the variable valve timing system from the housing.

Note: Seals and O-rings must always be replaced.

Installation

Moisten the O-ring with engine oil.

Note: The variable valve timing system valve 1 and the housing must be free of dirt.

Note: A new valve 1 for variable valve timing must be taken out of the packaging immediately before installation.

Carefully insert the valve 1 of the phase shifter into the housing and press it by hand until it stops, vertically relative to the axis of the valve.

Tighten the screws with 4 Nm.

Further assembly is carried out, respectively, in the reverse order of dismantling.
