Pic. 2.207. Fuel supply fitting
Dismantle the fuel supply line 2 and place a rag under the flowing fuel (pic. 2.207).
Note: To disconnect the fuel line, press the retaining ring.
Pic. 2.208. Pressure gauge connection
Connect a pressure gauge with an adapter and a set of adapters instead of the fuel supply line (pic. 2.208).
Open the pressure gauge valve. The lever is in position A.
Switch on the ignition as many times as necessary until the fuel pressure on the gauge stops rising.
Determine the fuel pressure on the pressure gauge. Nominal value 4.0 - 6.0 bar.
If the fuel pressure is correct, check the residual pressure.
If the nominal value is exceeded, then the pressure reducing valve in the fuel filter is faulty, replace the flange with the fuel filter
If the specified pressure is not reached, check the fuel lines and hoses for kinks or blockages.
If no fault is found, replace the flange with fuel filter and pressure relief valve
Repeat check.
If the nominal value is not reached again, the fuel pump is faulty, replace the fuel supply module.
