Checking the cooling system for leaks

Attention: When opening the expansion tank, hot steam may escape, wrap the cap with a rag and open the tank.

Open the cover of the expansion tank of the cooling system.



Install the cooling system tester with the adapter for the cooling system on the expansion tank (pic. 2.184).

Pressurize approximately 1.0 bar using the tester's hand pump.

If the pressure drops,

find and fix the leak.
