Note: The plastic pads included in the repair kit to protect open valves may only be removed immediately before installing the cylinder head.
Note: When replacing the cylinder head, the old coolant must also be drained and filled with new coolant.
Checking the cylinder head for warping

Using a straightedge and feeler gauge, check the surface of the cylinder block for warping.
Maximum allowable curvature 0.1 mm
Note: Remachining of cylinder heads is not permitted.
