Removing air from the clutch assembly

Note: The system does not need to be pre-filled.

Remove the air filter housing assembly if it prevents access to the breather (pic. at the bottom).

Connect the device for filling and pumping the brake system.

Use a bleed hose to bleed if necessary (length 670 mm).

At the same time, connect the bleeding hose to the receiving vessel of the device for bleeding the brake system.



Attach the bleed hose to the breather (pic. 3.5).

Pressurize the system to 2 bar.

Open the air valve.

Let it drain about 100 cm³ brake fluid.

Close the air valve.

10-15 times smoothly press the pedal to the stop, each time fully releasing the pedal.

Open the air valve.

Release about 50 cm more³ brake fluid.

Close the air valve.

After the end of the pumping process, press the clutch pedal several times.

Install the air filter housing assembly, if removed.
