Fitting the flanged shaft seal

Installation is carried out in the reverse order. In doing so, pay attention to the following.

Lubricate the outer circumference and sealing lip of the sealing ring with ATF.

Installation position

The open side of the O-ring faces towards the gearbox.

Press the O-ring in by hand as far as possible.

Left-hand side

Install the drive shaft.

Finally, check the ATF fluid level and top up.

Install noise isolation.
