1 - Service interval indicator

The indication appears on the tachometer after the ignition is turned on (engine not started yet) for a few seconds instead of showing the number of kilometers. If no service is required, the indication IN 00 appears.

If a certain service is due, one of the following flashing indications will appear for a few seconds after the engine is started:

• OEL - engine oil change;
• IN 01 - maintenance;
• IN 02 - maintenance with additional work steps.

After carrying out maintenance, it is necessary to call up the indication of each service separately again and reset the indications to zero. If, for example, inspection service IN 02 was carried out with an oil change, then OEL, IN 01 and IN 02 must be canceled. The readings can be canceled at a Volkswagen workshop.

Variable service interval indicator

If maintenance is carried out after 15,000 km or after 12 months, the display shows after a certain period of time (few seconds) The following values are displayed in sequence:

• engine oil change - OEL transverse with INSP;
• INSP-1 - maintenance;
• INSP-2 - maintenance with additional work steps.

After carrying out maintenance, it is necessary to call up the indication of each service separately again and reset the indications to zero.

2 - Tachometer

In no case should the tachometer needle go into the red section of the scale.

3 - Coolant temperature gauge

• a - Cold coolant
• b - Coolant operating temperature
• c - signal light

4 - Electronic clock

To set the time, there are two buttons at the bottom right under the tachometer. Return button (h) clock is set, lower (min) - minutes.

5 - Fuel gauge

The volume of the fuel tank is approximately 55 liters. The fuel reserve in the tank when the arrow reaches the reserve zone is about 7 liters.
