Checking the valve guide

1. Insert the new valve into the sleeve so that the end of its stem is not flush with the edge of the valve sleeve.

2. Determine the gap between the sleeve and the valve (pic. 3.17).



Allowable intake valve clearance: 1.0 mm.

Allowable clearance for the exhaust valve; 1.3 mm.
