Door lock/POLO

1 - door lock
Removal is only possible together with the door mechanism holder, see the relevant chapter below.

Withdrawal

• Remove the door handle, lock cylinder and door mechanism holder, see the relevant chapter below.
• Remove bolt -5-.
• Slide the retaining clip back a little and remove it from the door.

Installation

• Installation is carried out in reverse order.

When this bolt is loosened, the lock cylinder housing -9- is released and can be removed from the retaining clip -4-.

Attention: The bolt must not be turned out too far and must not be screwed in with the lock cylinder body removed, as the circlip may then fall into the door shaft.

Door lock/IBIZA

The door lock of the IBIZA car has, in principle, the same design. However, the locking bracket -3- is missing.
