Rear seat cushion

Removing

Note: Removal and installation of the rear seat cushion are described in relation to the composite cushion. One-piece cushion, in principle, is removed and installed in the same way.

Raise the seat cushion at the front edge, pull it forward, then lift it up at the back and fold it forward.



Press spring clips -1- inward -arrows- and pull out of hinges -2-.

Remove the seat cushion from the vehicle.

Installation

Insert the seat cushion into the hinges, fold back and secure.

Rear seat backrest, split

Removing

Note: The illustration shows the left backrest. Removal of the right backrest is carried out in the same way.

Tilt back seat -1 - forward.


From the outside of the backrest -1-, use a screwdriver -3- to press back on the locking hook -2- -arrow A- and pull the backrest out of the holder towards the top.

Pull the backrest up a little and remove it from the central rigid attachment -4- (-arrow B-).

Installation

Slide the backrest -1- onto the central support -4- and press it into the holder from the outside.

Tilt back.

Rear seat backrest, solid

Removing

Tilt rear seatback -1- forward.

Unscrew the two bolts -2- from the backrest at the central rigid attachment.

On the lateral fixings -arrows-, press the hook -3- back with a screwdriver and remove the backrest upwards.

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order. In doing so, tighten the bolts at the central rigid attachment to 40 Nm.
